Some of the world’s best hydrogeologists studied the source and mapped the origin to the foothills of the Taranga in the Aravalli range. Aava was certified as an IS 13428 and launched in 2005, and at the time it was the first bottled natural mineral water brand in Western India with a unique brand identity and packaging.

Aava goes international and wins the Bottled Water World Awards held in New Mexico City for its iconic cup-cap packaging. The unique shape was imagined by our Director Mr Behram Mehta who wanted to ensure Aava’s packaging was unique but also utilitarian. Till today, the Aava cup-cap continues to be our bestseller, it was designed to make hydration easy on the move.

By 2013, Aava was being served by premium institutions and airlines in India and getting tremendous international attention. Its potential as a powerful Indian brand was recognised at the The Power Brands Awards held in Las Vegas in 2013. The same year the ASSOCHAM Industry Chambers awarded Aava with the best food packaging award.

The world’s top sommeliers described Aava as an elegant and stylish water with a diamond-like finish, having the perfect amount of minerality, character and finesse. Thus Aava bagged two gold stars at the Superior Taste Awards by the International Taste and Quality Institute in Belgium. Aava is one of the only Indian natural mineral water brands to have won international awards for its taste as well as packaging.

Aava Glass bottle range is launched and we become a plastic neutral bottled water brand. Through the EPR regime and cloud recyclers, Aava recycled more PET than it produces. In India the recycling ecosystem enables 90% of PET to be recycled and Aava only uses 100% recyclable and BPA-free PET bottles. Our glass bottle range spotlights our commitment to nature. It is inspired by our real life bottling environment – The Aava Ecosystem that’s home to thousands of indigenous flora and fauna.

Naturally alkaline hydration is delivered directly to your doorstep. We revamped our website to enable direct and free home deliveries. Aava started servicing over 780 pin codes through our unique delivery model and warehouses in strategic locations. Aava is also one of the first movers on Amazon and today it’s one of the top sellers.
